Latest figures show a rising popularity for cloud computing with the number of businesses adopting at least one service increasing by 15 per cent since September 2013.
The annual Vanson Bourne study conducted by Cloud Industry Forum’s (CIF’s) reported that 78 per cent of UK organisations now include some form of cloud computing as part of their operations. This figure represents a remarkable growth of 61.5 per cent in the 4 years since the study was first published.
Larger companies are leading the way with 80 per cent now relying on it in some way. This figure contrasts with an adoption rate of around 75 per cent among small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
