SourceEcreative is a division of Extreme Reach, a US-owned media company that provides a range of video advertising services. With its headquarters based in the USA, SourceEcreative needed to rely on a local support company to manage the daily IT requirements of its London office, and Mustard’s scheduled support package has provided the perfect solution.

The Challenge

Fast and effective office IT systems are essential to the daily operations of SourceEcreative. But with its headquarters based in Florida, the 5 hours’ time difference makes it impossible for the company to receive direct support from its American colleagues. Instead, the company needed to outsource the management of its London IT infrastructure to a local partner.

The Solution

Having already dealt with Mustard IT on an ad hoc basis, SourceEcreative opened talks with the London IT support company in early 2014 regarding the provision of ongoing IT support and the supervision of its upcoming office relocation.

Mustard’s scheduled support package, which includes unlimited remote assistance, onsite callouts and regular weekly visits by a senior engineer, was judged to be the perfect way of managing SourceEcreative’s network. User problems are now dealt with remotely on a target response time of 15 minutes, with Mustard liaising directly with the States on matters of IT policy.

Whilst SourceEcreative’s London headcount is currently 8, its association with the far larger US network has seen Mustard assisting with the management of some high-end solutions, including Cisco hardware, SANs, ESXi, WAAS.

James McGlashan, Operations Manager, also explained how Mustard’s input had been invaluable in the run up to his company’s office move.

As per the initial brief, Drama Republic’s new IT infrastructure was in place in time for the New Year. Impressed by Mustard’s professionalism and reliability throughout the project, Drama Republic opted to sign up for Mustard’s ‘Remote’ IT support plan and have relied on its engineers for timely IT support ever since. In recent months, consultants decided to upgrade Drama Republic to Microsoft SharePoint 2013 to help alleviate problems caused by slow bandwidth in the Soho area; this was a more cost-effective option in comparison to upgrading the ADSL line to a lease line.

"Mustard has saved me so much time, spear-heading this project for us and liaising directly with our American office and third party suppliers, such as ISPs, to ensure that no stone is left unturned. They are a great bunch of guys – always on hand to assist with their knowledge and expertise – and I would have no hesitation in recommending them."
